In this third module, participants will understand the importance of teaching social and emotional skills to preschool children. Participants will receive information on how to use culturally responsive practices and include families when teaching social and emotional skills. Additionally, participants will identify and know how to teach the social and emotional skills taught in a pyramid model classroom: friendship skills, emotional literacy, self-regulation, and problem-solving skills.
