This workshop will focus on integrating gratitude into the early education environment via the messaging that students receive from their teachers through the modeling of behaviors. A discussion will follow on what current research has shown are the benefits to both incorporating gratitude into the early education environment along with the importance of having our own daily gratitude practice in place. Participants will then segue into small breakout groups that will work collaboratively on short exercises in gratitude. The final 30 minutes will focus on strategies for incorporating gratitude into the early learning environment.
