How to Build A Culturally Responsive Classroom for Diverse Student Populations

Participants will explore ways to create spaces for children that are focused on culturally responsive pedagogy for diverse populations. Participants will define, strategies that will help them reflect on their own biases and discuss ways to combat
bias in an effort to create spaces where all children are represented.

This class is part of our Inclusion/Special Education "Start Strong/Fall 2024" project, and provides Early Childhood Educators with the 15 hours of training needed by Child Care Licensing Division. Please note individuals providers and workplaces may require other or additional hours. Check with your Licensing Specialist for more information.
