Creating Effective Learning Environments that Support the Developmental Needs of Young Children

In this workshop, participants will examine emergent curriculum activities, best practices, and theories using a play-based, Reggio-Inspired approach to early learning environments. Participants will explore using environmental assessments to enhance learning opportunities for young children, both indoors and outdoors. Specific strategies to promote the development of children’s social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs will also be explored.
