During this one-hour tour, participants will learn how quality preschool environments are planned and purposeful to meet children's needs and provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences. We will look at both indoor and outdoor environments and discuss how they support the development of physical, cognitive, language and literacy, and social-emotional skills. Using a scavenger hunt, participants will reflect on what they have learned and develop an action plan for improving their own classroom environment.
