Roots of Resilience - Awakening Children’s Healing
Online learning for early childhood teachers working with children who experienced trauma

In Roots of Resilience, you will learn about trauma, stress, and resilience in young children’s lives; the impact of trauma on brain development, attachment, and self-regulation; assessments and screenings; and partnering with families and specialists. You will also develop trauma-informed strategies and strengthen sensitive adult-child interactions through Serve and Return; apply specific strategies for promoting self-regulation; and implement cultural, trauma, and special needs lenses to your work. The program is comprised of six online modules; each module includes pre-reading and applied practices to enhance your work with young children who have experienced trauma.
