PreK: Food Safety Practices

Description: Keeping children safe and healthy is our priority when it comes to caring for young children. We can achieve this with consistent basic food safety practices. We will review specific practices and routines for which, caregivers can implement regarding food safety including, safe food temperature, appropriate food for each child’s age and development, and how to ensure that allergies and noted and procedures are followed to ensure safety.
Outcomes: As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:
demonstrate appropriate safe food practices to control and prevent the spread of illness.
use preventative measures to protect children from injury or potential harm.
