Policies are the backbone of any early childhood education program, but can we rethink how policies are implemented? See policies from multiple perspectives or an emotionally supportive lens? Participants in this training will conduct an in depth examination of how policies respect differences and honor beliefs, preferences, and cultural expectations. Participants will also practice adapting policies in order to ensure the program is supportive of all children's diverse wellness/mental health needs.
