Unit 5- Social-Emotional Development
We will be diving into how social-emotional development unfolds in the first 5 years and how to support it. We will identify areas of the brain involved social interactions and emotional reactions. We will look at the role of relationships and attachment, the effects of stress and the development of empathy in social emotional development.
