Is rough-and-tumble play dangerous? Does it foster aggression? Should it have a place in your classroom? We will explore the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional benefits of rough-and-tumble play. Participants will learn supportive guidance strategies and guidelines for safe physical environments as we deepen our understanding of the positive role symbolic aggression plays in early childhood development.
