Salud Mental Infantil: Que es y por que es importante (Childhood Mental Health: What is it and why it's important)

This training is designed for license-exempt family child care providers. Participants will understand the typical mental health social and emotional development of children ages 0-12 including the needs that come with mental health, and we will discuss the impact on families and providers' care practices. They will also understand how to recognize risk factors that can lead to or result in children with mental health problems, learn research-based practices to support the emotional well-being of families and children as well as child care for those suffering from mental health problems. mental health.
