Creating Successful Readers and Learners

Children get ready to read long before they start kindergarten. This class will focus on early literacy and what you can do to help young children, from newborns to five-years-old, become aware and comfortable with books and language. Early literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they can actually read or write. Young children often have short attention spans. Here you can learn how to share early literacy activities in short bits of time throughout the day.
