The second session of the series on trauma-responsive care begins with exploring how trauma may influence infants and toddlers. Participants will unpack why the experience of trauma for babies and toddlers can significantly influence their development. This session will also explore the concepts of risk, protective factors, and resilience. They will examine specific within-child and external protective factors and reflect on how to promote and strengthen each protective factor for babies and toddlers to foster their resilience.
