Understanding Temperament

We are all born into this world with a temperament that is unique to us.  As child care professionals it is helpful to identify different temperament styles in ourselves and the children we work with, understand the interplay between temperament styles and their related behaviors, and learn to adapt or respond to a child’s temperament needs.
