Early Learning STEAM

The Early STEAM Cohort professional development sessions are designed to empower pre-K teachers with innovative and effective strategies to foster hands-on learning experiences in the classroom. This dynamic workshop aims to inspire educators to create engaging and interactive environments that encourage young learners to develop a love for science, technology, math, arts, and engineering. This 7-hour session includes engaging hands-on math, science, engineering, and tinkering activities that will immerse educators into the power of STEAM-based play. Throughout all of the activities, educators will also engage in discussions on how to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that integrates STEAM activities while fostering social-emotional development in young children. Participants will receive books and materials for their classroom.
