Equity Centered Class - Trauma Informed Teaching Practices

Overview of the three types of stress and examine how toxic stress, over a long period of time, negatively affects children’s development. We will recognize our childhood and adult trauma which impacts our interactions in teaching environments. Learn how to draft a consent statement to respect limits set by children for their emotional, physical, and intellectual well being.
