Neuroplasticity and Creating a Healthy Mind/Body Balance

This will be a brief introduction to brain states and how the autonomic nervous system takes over when under stress. We will discuss Interpersonal Neurobiology, a discipline developed by Dan Siegel, which covers neuroplasticity, and linking the mind and the body in a healthy balance. Our discussion will include Attachment Theory, Window of Tolerance, implicit and explicit bias, and trauma. We will also go over the Healthy Mind Platter and the seven daily essential mental activities to optimize matter and create well-being.
