Smartphone Photography: Using your iPhone Camera for Marketing and Documenting Children's Work and Play*
Spring Conference workshop

In this class, participants will develop an understanding of basic photography concepts and skills and how to translate these to the iPhone. You will learn about the different camera modes and settings for taking the best shots. We will also discuss exposure triangles and how to avoid blurry images. Next, you will learn positioning and posing to understand where the photographer should stand, how the phone should be held, and how to best pose your subjects. We will also talk about methods for taking the best candid photos. Lastly, participants will learn how to edit and publish photos for use on social media as well as printing for use in the classroom. * Participants should plan to bring a fully-charged iPhone to class.
