This training will explore the history of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. We will examine the events leading to their present-day status as a sovereign tribal nation. Participants will examine ways in which this information challenges the narrative they previously believed about Native histories and brainstorm ways in which this information can be integrated into their teaching practices.
