Collaborating with Families on Strategies for Supporting Children through Family Changes
We will discuss how to support children and families experiencing trauma and toxic stress; learn how to prepare children for changes in routines and procedures and explain why changes had to occur; and learn how to make these changes while being sensitive to children and families and meet not only their physical needs but their emotional needs as well.
