Make and Take: Visual Supports in Preschool Settings

This is a two-part training, both sessions must be attended to receive a certificate. The first part will include a discussion of the reasons for using visual supports with preschoolers, especially those with special needs. Various types of visual supports will be presented along with demonstration of how to use them for many different purposes. For the second part of this training, participants will identify 3-5 visual supports that hey would like to make for use in their programs during part 2. Part 2 will consist of a make and take session where participants will create the support they identified for themselves in the first session.
