All children benefit from the use of visuals. As a teacher, “one more thing,” can be a daunting proposition. In this session, we will reflect on challenges we might encounter with children throughout the day, such as with social interactions, following directions and routines, and communication. We will discuss how visual communications can support our work, when we can use visuals, and how to make the use of visuals manageable in a variety of busy learning environments.
