Teaching Character Education Through the Expressive Arts

Throughout history, children have learned cultural values and virtues through storytelling, music, drama, and dance. The presenter will share a sample session of teaching a virtue. Then groups will work together to explore a virtue and bring it to life using the expressive arts. Resources will be shared so all participants will be able to return with a lesson plan in hand.
