In this training participants will explore different ideas on how to design developmentally appropriate learning areas and discuss how those could be connected directly to the curriculum. We will briefly talk about brain development. We will discuss program structure, space, routines, materials, and toys that are developmentally appropriate for specific age groups. We will talk about inclusive environments, culturally sensitive approaches, and learning styles.
