This E3 (Empowering Early Education) cohort series is a response to the challenges of social emotional health at all levels, from adult to child. Social Emotional health is key to children thriving later in school and in their employment efforts later in life. The social emotional health of adults working with children is also a factor in successful and high-quality programs. Self-discovery and thoughtful reflection will strengthen your approach to your program and to yourself. This work will assist with your own resilience so that you are fully present, grounded, and making the most of the early learning opportunities you provide.
6 hours of PPLD includes attending 6 presentation sessions, engaging in journaling and self-reflection practices, implementing new approaches with staff, families and children.

Session 4: Empowered Conversations, Unmet needs, self-acceptance
Session 5: Setting Limits & Dealing with Anger, Family Values, Empathy, Trigger Awareness
Session 6: Playful Parenting & Celebrating Breakthroughs, working with families and staff, learning through play
