The Importance of Understanding Emotions for Infant Toddler Educators

Through strong relationships and communication with primary caregivers in the first years of a child’s life, young children develop the life skills of emotional understanding, self-awareness, and self-regulation. We will explore brain research that describes and supports the importance of understanding emotions and social emotional development.
