There has been abundant research showing preschoolers can enjoy learning math and can learn more mathematical concepts than previously assumed when it is done playfully. Mathematical understanding in the early years is a strong predictor of later academic success, even across a range of subjects. This workshop will discuss many ways you can engage in playful math with your students and how you can create a playful math learning environment in your classroom.
