this workshop we will explore and discuss in depth the development of children through a historical, biological and social lens. We will explore a developmental continuum that we can use as a basis for our understanding of development and behavior while at the same time recognizing that each child is unique and special. We will explore strategies for building a sense of community and self-esteem among the children we serve.
