This training will be most useful for early childhood teachers who are teaching in English and supporting home language development through intentional exposure, some instruction, and a classroom environment that includes multicultural materials in home languages. Parts of this training may also be useful for teachers who are using dual language or other classroom language models to teach children learning more than one language.
