Observing to Prevent Future Problems
As Child Care Providers, we need to know and observe the child's developmental stages to effectively: set limits, handle behavior problems, set a reward system and better prevent future problems. We also need to know where we come from and understand various temperaments to better communicate with others as we talk about these observations. Observations need to consider other influences, such as the family's risk-factors, to better assess and help the child.
