Exploring and Implementing Anti-Bias Values in the Classroom

This session will provide an opportunity to explore Anti-Bias Education as it relates to racism, ableism, inclusion, bias, and the intersectionality of these. We will provide ideas about how to approach and implement strategies in your classrooms so all children and families are welcome. We will discuss how to encourage young children to use critical thinking skills and engage co-workers with conversation that promotes compassion, respect and kindness. We invite everyone looking for an opportunity to continue or spark their personal work in anti-bias, anti-racist, inclusionary practices to participate. All teachers, assistants and providers are encouraged to attend.
