Mental Health & Child Development: A Relational Approach

Many ECE providers are seeing an increase in children's behavior and express concern over children's mental health. While wishing for more classroom supports you might have even said to yourself: Wait - I'm not a therapist! We will discuss the basis of mental health, specifically in regard to infants and toddlers. You will identify strategies that benefit mental health to start including in your classroom and program. Finally, you will be introduced to reflective supervision and the Oregon Infant Mental Health Endorsement.
