In this training of Preventing and Managing Challenging Behaviors 3 to 5, participants will reflect on their prior knowledge of what causes challenging child behaviors, what those behaviors mean, and what they may look like. They will then be presented with a variety of specific strategies they can implement to promote positive behaviors in their early childhood environments. Participants will be provided with downloadable visuals and tools that they can select from to develop a plan that will apply to the needs of the children and families they are serving. The downloadable tools are evidence based, and will be applicable to children with and without disabilities in inclusive environments.
