Sensory Processing Difficulties in the Classroom for Students with ASD

Participants will explore strategies to support young children on the Autism Spectrum with sensory challenges in early childhood environments by:
• Examine how environmental stimulus impacts a child’s learning and behavior.
• Apply sensory assessment techniques and environment modifications to help identify effective interventions to match where the children's needs are.
• Strategize approaches for assessing, developing, and implementing sensory approaches in the classroom.
