Participants will examine principles and main beliefs of child development. Discuss how development is influenced by heredity, environment and the interaction between the two. Analyze and discuss how to observe milestones and examine typical sequences of child development. Share suggestions on how to talk to parents about children’s typical development or concerns and make a referral if necessary.
