Adapting Outdoor Environments to Become More Inclusive

In this training, participants will explore barriers to inclusion in outdoor settings, with an emphasis on natural settings. We will explore adaptations and modifications t the environment to allow for inclusion. We will also explore some common outdoor activities and examine adaptations to them that might allow for the inclusion of children with disabilities.
