At this training, participants will learn about Spark, Oregon's Quality Rating and Improvement System, and how to become a star-rated program. We will discuss the benefits of being a star-rated program and develop an understanding of the Spark standards as well as the application process, the Quality Improvement Plan, and the portfolio. You will also learn about the financial supports and incentives available to participating programs. Prior to the class, participants will receive an email with the presentation handouts, plus all of the necessary application materials; the Quality Improvement Plan; and other helpful Spark documents.
