The Therapeutic Practitioner – Part Two
What do trauma-informed care, therapeutic classrooms, and workforce wellness have to do with early childhood education? Why should we care about these things when we already have to manage difficult behaviors, complete curriculum and assessments, and communicate with coworkers and families - not to mention dealing with the additional stresses of COVID? In part 2 we will answer these questions and more by: continuing our investigation of how all behavior is a form of communication - whether mild or extreme, from children to adults; discussing family communication, and interpersonal professional communication; and discovering the importance of workforce wellness.
