Exploring Art Methods for Early Childhood Education

Arts Integration encourages students to take risks, explore new possibilities, provides multiple ways for students to learn, and nurtures a supportive learning community. In this class, we will explore many different fun techniques and materials for making art, such as collage, watercolor painting, and mask making. We will also explore how the arts can be imbedded into the teacher’s daily practice, and used to support lesson content.

Attend for 8 hours of professional development Set One: LEC (8) OR for 1 credit of ED 399 College Credit: LEC (10)
Workshop Fee: $50 Fee + Optional SOU College Credit: $55 Tuition (ED 399)
