Knappa School District is sponsoring a 3 part (total of 6 hours) workshop focused on Oregon's Early Learning & Kindergarten Guidelines. The 3 sessions will go over the guidelines with a particular focus on social emotional development of 3-6 year olds. Literacy and Math Guidelines will be embedded in sessions 2 and 3. The workshops will be lead by an a veteran preschool lead teacher and an experienced primary grade teacher who conducted the workshops in Clatsop County a few years ago. Participants will be asked to share their own insights and experiences with the guidelines throughout the 3 sessions. Past participants expressed very positive reviews of the workshop and continued communication with classmates and instructors. The 3 sessions will be virtually conducted entirely.
