Teachers learn to be purposeful as they create an environment and interact with children in the interest areas and outdoors. In addition to planning the physical spaces, teachers learn strategies for interacting with children in ways that support their development and learning while encouraging their explorations and creativity. Participants will explore strategies related to specific interest areas: Dramatic play, Toys & Games, Sand & Water, Library, Technology, Arts, Discovery, Blocks, Music and Movement, Cooking, and Outdoors.
