This 6-week Zoom training will use “Beyond Behavior Management: The Six Life Skills Children Need” as a springboard to exploring how to support children to build essential social emotional skills: Attachment, Belonging, Self-regulation, Collaboration, Contribution, and Adaptability. By examining techniques, take-home activities, and group reflection participants will gain knowledge to help children solve challenging behaviors and build social emotional skills.

Additional information

This training is being offered through a grant from AllCare for residents of Jackson and Josephine Counties only. This training is a combination of 6 meeting dates. The first four meeting dates are 2.5 hours to include reflection and sharing. The completed series will earn 14 hours of credit in ORO.

Register by March 10 in order to receive a free book, Beyond Behavior Management. There is a reading assignment before the first class meets on March 15.

Scheduled meeting dates are Mondays: March 15, 22 and 29 and April 5, 12, and 19.
