This workshop will focus on observation and assessment in working with children and families with special needs. Information on conducting observation and assessment, record keeping related to observation and assessment and sharing results with parents in a sensitive manner will be explored. The workshop will also offer an opportunity for participants to examine their beliefs about families and children with special needs and explore the implications of the Americans With Disabilities Act
