Making Change Through the Legislative Process

Participants will examine issues to determine if they are widely felt and if we need to change any laws to resolve the issue(s). Participants will strategize what change should be made through the legislative process. We will discuss the legislative process at the state and national level. We will develop the legislative concept, recruit a legislator to carry our bill and how to motivate the child care community to advocate for the legislation.
