Building Resilience in Challenging Times through Trauma-Informed Practices

Childhood trauma affects more than 60% of children in Oregon. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the level of stress and trauma that families are facing. What is trauma, how does it affect the brain, and how can we build resilience in children through trauma-informed teaching practices? This training will include strategies that apply to both in-person and virtual learning environments.
