This workshop is focused on strategies and modifications that may be needed to ensure that the program is a welcoming and safe space for children and parents and how teachers may need to adjust their expectations for children who may be stressed and vulnerable. Will look at the environment, activities, social-emotional resources and strategies to implement changes in a supportive way.

This training is presented in a webinar format through the Zoom platform. You must have access to a computer and appropriate connectivity in order to participate.

This is a 2-part training: Sept 1 - Part 1, 6-7:30 and Sept 8 - Part 2, 6-7:30 [Both sessions must be taken to receive credit in ORO]

Registration is only offered to residents of Jackson and Josephine County.

You must be able to download the Zoom application so that you can use the camera function. You must have your camera on, participate in small group breakout activities, and respond to polls and chatbox questions in order to receive training hours.
