Welcoming and Reconnecting with Families in the Time of Covid: Health and Safety

This workshop looks at the emergency child care requirements and changes that are needed to follow the protocols for having children enter the program, group size, symptom checks, and additional sanitation, and how to implement these requirements in a trauma informed way. Attention will also be given to strategies to help parents feel welcomed despite restrictions, and to be reassured that children will be safe and secure.

This training is presented in a webinar format through the Zoom platform. You must have access to a computer and appropriate connectivity in order to participate.

Registration is only offered to residents of Jackson and Josephine County.

You must be able to download the Zoom application so that you can use the camera function. You must have your camera on, participate in small group breakout activities, and respond to polls and chatbox questions in order to receive training hours.
