This training provides early childhood education staff with the knowledge to develop classrooms that support children with autism through the implementation of research-based strategies. Topics include examining learning characteristics of autism, positive behavioral strategies, and techniques to promote social and language skills. This workshop provides examples of evidence-based practices that can be immediately implemented in classrooms.

This is a distance learning webinar. Participants will receive log in information by email the day of event. Participants will need a device to watch, but will not be on video or audio. Participants must be logged on and viewing webinar (not only audio) for the duration of the event, and respond to majority of trainer questions in the chat box to receive training credit. * Class will be held via live webinar and will consist of 3, two hour sessions, for a total of 6 hours. Participants must attend all 3 sessions to receive certificate of attendance for 6 hours.
