We are abiding by the CDC and AHA guidelines and limiting the skills sessions to six people in each session. Each of you will have your own equipment; there will be no shared equipment. AHA has asked that we do not ventilate the manikins, however I will be going over the pocket masks and I will have face shields for CPR available for you to purchase if you choose to. The tables will be 6-10 feet apart. There are restrooms for hand washing and you are welcome to wear gloves during the skills sessions. I am providing the gloves, as it is one of the required skills that we practice. You are also welcome to bring a facemask if you want to wear one during the skills session, I am not able to provide you one.
The skills that we will be practicing together is adult, child and infant CPR, AED, Obstructed Airway, control of bleeding using tourniquets and packing a wound on a prop, Epi Pen, and donning and removal of gloves.
