This method is especially effective for those who struggle with emotional, social, and behaviorally challenging children. This class will give an introduction to A, B, C Plan, the 5 Cognitive Thinking Skills (executive functioning, language processing, emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, and social skills), which help neurotypically developing children foster the development of social and emotional skills, Identifying areas of lagging skills and how to build those skills, teach adults how to listen and empathize, and teach youth how to feel safe enough to communicate.
